Intercessory Prayer Request Form
Praying for our nation and leadership.
God also commands us to pray for those in authority over us.
1 Tim 2:2 “For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all
godliness and honesty.”
In the time in which Paul wrote this above scripture, most countries had kings for leaders.
Today’s equivalent in the United States would be our president.
After him, it would his advisers, congress, and all national and local leaders.
We need to pray for the armed forces, firefighters, and law enforcement personnel. We need to pray for all who are in authority.
As elected or appointed officials, we have the responsibility to pray for them so that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives, godly and respectful in every way.
2 Chron 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
